| The season hasn't even
started yet but on campus, the hype surrounding potential Heisman candidates
is already beginning. There are the names you know, Henson, Crouch, Dantzler,
Anderson, Dorsey and Simonton. Then there are the darkhorses, Leftwich,
Thomas, and Bryant, Suggs and Watson. It should be a great race.

Baseball or football? Drew Henson has six million dollars staring him in the face if he leaves Michigan to play baseball for the New York Yankees. On the other hand, the Heisman Trophy, A Big Ten Championship, and a BCS bowl bid are within his grasp if he returns to the Michigan football team. Beyond that, the expansion Houston Texans would love to make Henson the first pick in the 2002 NFL Draft and give him more than the Yankees would. Wait or take the money now? Or maybe it's not the money, maybe it's a question of what sport Henson like more........ |
