PROSPECT PROFILE

DAVID TERRELL
WIDE RECEIVER
MICHIGAN
6'2  200  4.4

David Terrell is the next receiver to come out of the "Randy Moss mold." He's tall, fast and is an exceptional leaper. Only a junior, Terrell has been very productive during his career at Michigan including a 3TD 1999 Orange Bowl that put him on the map. Terrell has the total package. He is a great deep threat but can also catch the shorter routes due to his size. Terrell has excellent hands, rarely ever dropping a pass. His size and strength is a key as many corners try to jam him at the line. His route running is good and once he catches the ball he has shown some ability to run after the catch. His downfield blocking at Michigan has been solid. His size and strength allows him to outmuscle smaller corners. At this point, he seems willing to be a blocker. Terrell may be the best prospect in this draft. He shouldn't fall out of the top three. He is an extremely polished receiver for only a junior. He should be able to step in and contribute right away.
