1.DAVID TERRELL - Junior - Michigan
6'3  200  4.4
Randy Moss like athlete. Is the complete package, hands, speed and blocking. The top prospect in the draft.

2.SANTANA MOSS - Senior - Miami
5'10  175  4.38
Open field nightmare with great speed and elusiveness. Peter Warrick type gamebreaker. Not real big.

3.ROD GARDNER - Senior - Clemson
6'3  218  4.55
A huge receiver who will make the tough grabs in traffic. Has great body control, but is a questionable blocker.

4.QUINCY MORGAN - Senior - Kansas State
6'2  200  4.37
Explosive, big play gamebreaker. Is an outstanding long ball threat. Too many drops; inconsistent hands.

5.FREDDIE MITCHELL - Junior - UCLA
6'0  185  4.45
A quick, versatile receiver who plays with an attitude. Can go deep. Had a serious injury but seems to have recovered

Michigan's David Terrell (above) is the most complete prospect in this draft. Though only a Junior, he is a lock to be a top three pick.

Kansas State's Quincy Morgan is a gamebreaker with a knack for making big plays. He has to work on not dropping as many passes. If he does that, the sky's the limit.

REGGIE WAYNE - Senior - Miami
6'2  200  4.45
A big receiver with great hands. Runs nice routes and seems ready to step in. May move up the charts.

CHRIS CHAMBERS - Senior - Wisconsin
6'1  208  4.39
A great physical prospect who wasn't a focus at Wisconsin
has had some drops. Needs more consistency to move up.

RON JOHNSON - Junior - Minnesota
6'3  210  4.49
A junior with great size. Torched a good Ohio State secondary. Tremendous upside.

REGGIE GERMANY - Senior - Ohio State
6'2  185  4.5
Germany is a wonderful athlete who had a diappointing 2000 season. Needs work on routes.

CHAD JOHNSON - Senior - Oregon State
6'1  190  4.45
Emerged this season after a great year. Lacks experience but is a good athlete who rarely drops a pass.

BOO WILLIAMS - Senior - Arkansas
6'4  235  4.68
Looks more like a tight end than a Wide Receiver. Hasn't produced as expected. Lacks great speed.

KENYON RAMBO - Senior - Ohio State
6'0  185  4.5
Like Germany, a top flight athlete who had a subpar 2000 season. Needs to regain previous form.

MARVIN MINNIS - Senior - Florida State
6'1  170  4.48
A reliable, sure handed receiver. Very polished route runner. Very slightly built. Needs to bulk up.

The depth at WR this year has pushed Miami's Reggie Wayne down, but with teams looking a lot for receivers in 2001, Wayne is still a very good 1st Round possibility.

Ohio State combo Kenyon Rambo (top) and Reggie Germany (bottom) both had subpar 2000 seasons. But both are great athletes who will receive lots of attention from NFL teams. Both should be picked somewhere between the 2nd and 4th Rounds of the draft.

ALEX BANNISTER - Eastern Kentucky
ONOME OJO - UC Davis
RICHMOND FLOWERS - Tenn-Chattanooga
DANIEL GUY - Jackson State
JACQUAY NUNNALLY - Florida A&M
SCOTTY ANDERSON - Grambling State
MATT DOMINIGUEZ - Sam Houston State
JOHN FITZSIMMONS - UConn
JAMES JORDAN - Louisiana Tech
SEAN CANGELOSI - Louisiana Tech
JUSTIN McCARIENS - Northern Illinois
DAMON THOMPSON - Virgina State
ORLANDO IGLESIAS - Houston
COREY ALSTON - Western Michigan
NATE POOLE - Marshall
AARON POULIN - Concordia
STEVE NEAL - Western Michigan
JAMMARL O'NEAL - Central Michigan
GREG GRAVES - Kentucky State
SLY JOHNSON - Miami Ohio
ROBERT KILOW - Arkansas State

Looking at this year's sleeper WRs, the common trend is height. Justin McCariens (above left) is 6'3, John Fitzsimmons (above right0 is 6'2 and Alex Bannister (middle) is 6'5. Besides those three, Onome Ojo, Scotty Anderson, Sean Cangelosi, Orlando Inglesias, Daniel Guy, Matt Dominiguez, James Jordan, Steve Neal, Greg Graves, Robert Kilow and Jammarl O'Neal are all 6'2 or taller. Bannister, the tallest at 6'5 has also been clocked as low as 4.27 in the 40. He is an incredible athlete who could really become a great receiver if he refines his game.

But there is still a place for the little guys. Damon Thompson (right) is only 5'11, but he is a great punt returner and big play receiver. Also, 5'10 Richmond Flowers was the MVP of the Blue Gray All Star Classic. He has been compared to another small receiver, Waybe Chrebet.

CEDRICK WILSON - Tennessee
ALEX WILLIS - Florida
ANDRE KING - Miami
JERMALE KELLY - South Carolina
LATEF GRIM - Pittsburgh
DAVID MARTIN - Tennessee
VINNY SUTHERLAND - Purdue
CHRIS TAYLOR - Texas A&M
BOBBY NEWCOMBE - Nebraska
KAHLIL HILL - Iowa
MARGIN HOOKS - Brigham Young
KHORI IVY - West Virgina
STEVE SMITH - Utah
TJ HOUSHMANZADEH - Oregon State
DERONNIE PITTS - Stanford
DALLAS DAVIS - Colorado State
KEVIN COFFEY - Virgina

Nebraska's Bobby Newcombe is a great athlete who even played QB for the Huskers. If he learns the WR position more, he could become a very good receiver.

He may have been outshadowed by super sophomore Antonio Bryant but Latef Grim is still a good NFL prospect with very sure hands. He may get a look in the middle rounds.

RONALD BELLAMY - Sophomore - Michigan
ANQUAN BOLDIN - Sophomore - Florida State
ANTONIO BRYANT - Sophomore - Pittsburgh
RECHE CALDWELL - Sophomore - Florida
ANDRE DAVIS - Junior - Virgina Tech
TERRANCE EDWARDS - Sophomore - Gerogia
JABAR GAFFNEY - Freshman - Florida
MICHAEL HAYES - Junior - Southern
BJ JOHNSON - Freshman - Texas
EMMETT JOHNSON - Junior - Virgina Tech
KAREEM KELLY - Sophomore - Southern California
LERON LITTLE - Junior - Alabama Birmingham
TAB PERRY - Freshman - UCLA
BRIAN POLI DIXON - Junior - UCLA
TRAMMEL PRYOR - Fort Valley State
DURRELL ROBINSON - Freshman - Georgia
KOREN ROBINSON - Sophomore - NC State
DONTE STALLWORTH - Sophomore - Tennessee
JAVON WALKER - Junior - Florida State
MARQUISE WALKER - Junior - Michigan
ROY WILLIAMS - Freshman - Texas

Michael Vick may be the Hokie's main attraction, but he is throwing to pair of excellent receivers. Andre Davis (above) and Emmett Johnson are two 6'3 WRs with speed. They give Vick two reliable targets.

Though only a freshman, WR Roy Williams of Texas has already been compared to Randy Moss. With his 4.4 speed to go along with a huge 6'5, 200 lb frame, the comparisons seem valid. Look for Williams to tear up Big 12 secondaries next season.
