| Clements is a Junior
who is entering the draft a year early. He is continuing the Buckeye tradition
of CBs in the NFL following the footsteps of Shawn Springs, Antoine Winfield
and others.
PROS: Good size and he uses it well. Even with his size he has great closing speed. Was Ohio State's return man and could do it in the pros if needed. Likes to take chances and usually wins. CONS: Even with the size, he doesn't contribute much in terms of run support. Needs to play smarter and not rely purely on his athletic gifts. Likes to take chances that may not work in the pros. BOTTOM LINE: His size and speed are pushing him up the draft boards. He could be a late 1st Round pick but is more likely going to be drafted at the top of the 2nd. |
