PROSPECT PROFILE

TRAVIS HENRY
RUNNING BACK
TENNESSEE
5'11  225  4.58

Overshadowed by Jamal Lewis for most of his time at Tennessee, 2000 was Henry's year as the full time starter. He had seen action previously due to Lewis' injuries but this year no one debated who Tennessee's best running back was. Henry is a solid, tough runner. He is strong and runs compact. Henry does much of his damage inside. Henry doesn't have great breakaway speed but has a good burst through the hole and enough speed to finish. He has the body to punish tacklers in the secondary. He is very willing and good at stepping in to pick up the blitz. He's not much of a receiver though. He doesn't have the feel for the passing game yet. Henry should hear his name called in the first round. Depending on the status of some talented underclassmen, he should go in the top half of round one.
